11/14/2022 0 Comments Altiverb sweetwater![]() Reaktor ships with a great one called Spacemaster 2 which is fantastic for huge, futuristic spaces. #Altiverb sweetwater for freeDo you have the full version of Reaktor? If so then check out the Reaktor user library for free reverbs because there are some really unique sounds in there. And sometimes the inbuilt reverb on synths is exactly what you want too, so when applying reverb to synth patches don't be afraid to stay within the synth itself. On a few occasions I have found myself using some of the "cheap" reverbs you get with Guitar Rig because they worked better than the Valhalla reverbs I use on most other occasions. Sometimes a "cheap and nasty" reverb fits the music more than an expensive one. And in selecting a wide range of reverbs don't forget to check out some of the cheap or free ones too. Relab LX480 aslo is very good.but expensive at $249 (BF Deal)Īnd of course the most recent addition - Slate VerbsuiteĬurrently $199, but can be had in the Everything Bundle for $14.99 a monthĪs Bit said it's good to have a wide range of reverbs because they're all so different and I don't think there is one which will shine in every situation. #Altiverb sweetwater codeLXP is $66.36 with code GROUP at JRR also Price in cart is $200.76 with code GROUP and is the lowest price ever offered for it (even less at discounters) and is also very good. Lexicon PCM is very nice.and LXP is on sale right now for $79 Valhalla Room for $50 is one of the most talked about and used reverbs out there due to great sound and a great price. It's rated up there with Altiverb for 1/6 the price. Hofa IQ Reverb is exceptional.I highly recommend the demo You can get Phoenix Verb right now for $49, but its NFR. and also the highest priced.at about $700 retail. Some companies are a little greedy I think.Altiverb is one of the highest rated reverbs available. half the price of Altiverb running the same code from the PT TDM days with some new impulses. the sampling, mapping to velocities, coding the round robin so it sounds natural, bleed controls, UI design, capturing the MIDI grooves, coding the built-in plugins, all the songwriting features. Just thinking about the labor involved in making something like SD3, it's dizzying in scope and scale. Compare that to Superior Drummer 3 at less than half the price, a sampling instrument so deep and so groundbreaking it was years in the making. #Altiverb sweetwater softwareSo for instance Altiverb 7 XL includes impulses from an Eventide SP2016, but Eventide still makes money from the SP2016 today in plugin form.Īgain, this software costs $900 USD on Sweetwater right now. I am not even sure how I feel about companies profiting off IR captures of digital hardware units - essentially the sound of another company's intellectual property. Not to mention they have been doing this for ages and presumably have recouped the expenses on the older IRs many, many times over. The entire markup is to cover what they want you to think is the massive expense of traveling around the globe and capturing the IR's, a process which probably takes between 3 and 4 man-hours at most. It offers pretty much no additional features or functionality above and beyond the cheapest or even free convolution verbs - it's all about the library. If there's one piece of software that should have gotten cheaper over the almost 20 years it's been around, it's Altiverb. ![]()
